I think this would be pretty cool and usefull to have on here.

I'm talkin about for like you're friends and stuff, so you can talk to people without spamming forums, or having to delete your inbox when it gets full.

if we had an instant message chat feature, it would produce alot of security risks. not to mention it could also somewhat replace the private message system and it would create chaos in getting reliable screenshots for the conversations as well. i vote no.

not rly, just put time stamps on them, and have it save some chat history like AIM

you dont seem to understand where im coming from. My father is a computer repair man and genius when it comes to computer programming. not to mention im HUGE into graphics design and im quite good at it. coming from this i know for a fact you can take a screenshot edit it and make it look as if something was said when it really wasnt just like you could on jsp. the catch? on jsp you can be proven wrong if admins look into private messages. your security is higher on jsp than in a 3rd party device. maybe down the road something can be implemented. but for now chat software is a security risk

ok that is a flaw i guess but it would obv. be illegal or "do at your own risk" like pm trades are supposed to be.
