I've noticed that sometimes it'll be days, or even weeks when I check my profile, and I sometimes miss friend requests from people.

I'd like to get a PM when you get a friend request so you can be alerted straight away.

No.

I don't want to get PMs if some random adds me in their list.

There could be some other less annoying notification though.

I didn't know that it was that hard to just ignore and reject the friend request?

Some of us don't get mass random friend requests.

I didn't know it's that hard to just check your own profile and see if there's a request.

and I never said I get them in masses.

There are people who add everyone in their list.

When you're on a trading website, the Friends tab is usually the last thing on your mind, and if you're not getting mass friend requests than why do you care?

You're willing to giveup having to click on your profile and scroll through tons of friends to reach one approval to reject/accept it rather than to just have one PM in which you can just as easily ignore?

What if they added the option to reject/accept the invite in the PM, would that satisfy you?

EDIT:

I get enough private messages without a feature like this, and the friendlist isn't enough important to have notifications like that.
So what if you accept someone a week or two late, it makes no difference if you really are friends.

Also, no one has "tons of friends", a more appropriate term would be "list of randoms".

It's my opinion and I don't really have to explain myself more than this I guess.

No has been voted, enjoy.

Then why not have it with the feature above?

You can have the feature disabled or enabled, therefore everybody wins.

sorry, but big no here.

what will happen if someone repeats "request --> cancel --> request --> cancel --> request --> ..." ?
this will be easily abused for unexpected way of harassing people.

if you really want someone to accept your friend request, why not directly send a pm to ask it?
