Okay, so when you set your background on your computer, you have the option to set it as "Centered" "Tile" and "Stretch" correct? (on PC's anyways...)

This suggestion is to be able to set your profile background on d2jsp to Stretch, so if the pixels of the image is big(for example 2000x1000) it stretches to fit the size of your profile screen.
For example, if you set an image that is very large like 2000x1000 as your profile background, it either shows a LARGE portion of the image cutting out a LOT, or if you set it to center top or whatever it cuts a lot of the bottom off etc.

This would make it so whoever looks at your profile, including yourself, no matter how big your monitor screen is, it will fit the profile background screen no matter what.

Screenshots and other info to support this suggestion:

If you look here, this image is 3000x2000: http://www.euphonix.com/pro/news/img/client_mc_pro_system_5-mc/euph_studio_hamburg.jpg

Here is what it looks like as my profile background: http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=316055

Ass you can see it cuts off a crapload of the image.

Here is what my desktop looks like with the stretch feature:

So as you can see, if the stretch feature was implemented, it would show the whole image etc... :D

I voted "Yes," and actually, I was looking for the "stretch" option earlier for my profile, and I couldn't find it! :(

Well, it doesn't necessarily stretch it, it makes it fit no matter what, so even if the image is bigger, it downsizes it to fit the screen!
