seriously 4 hours?

thats just pointless

4 hours pretty much forces people to early bump and spam and make new/multi topics

4 hours might be ok in certain sections of this site that are slow
but in like d2 trade area they need like 10 minute legit bumps
that would actualy make people want to legit bump more often

no. If everyone followed the 4 hour bump rule there wouldn't be a problem

i really doubt that will happen, and it would flood all market places.
no for other bump rules, but yes for higher punishments for early bumps.

4 hours is a long time... especially if your post gets knockd off the top 50 in a minute or so..

Well, everyone who trades there earlybumps it anyway, so as DoomOnYou says, if everyone followed the rule there would be no problem.

And nobody will sell their gear.

Without early bumps, you might find yourself taking a day or 2 to sell an item, rather than an hour with early bumps.

People should just be warned for repeat offenses on early bumps, that'd solve both problems. It'd take a hell of a lot of work to keep up on that though. =/
I never understood what people find to be so difficult about following simple rules, I used to be a big trader on UsEast before I quit and started Ladder Slasher. I never once early bumped .. did just fine.

Topic example name "Need xxx item FAST FAST FAST "

imo early bump should get a 10.

no. it would create much more spam and topics would go page 2 much faster ^^

4 hours bump rule is 4 hours for a very good reason
