I just got pm'd that my sig is too large.

This is how it looked when it was 7.01kb too large:

And this is what it looks now:

Its really annoying, alot sigs looks shit cause 70kb limit.
If ur gonna say that 30kb is huge change in page loading, please dont, its NOT.

1GB = 1000MB
1MB = 1000KB

average download speed from all users have 10-folded i guess since the 70kb limit was set
so why not double sig size or so? ^^
i would luv to have my original sig up, 126kb

No 70 KB is already ok.

About your sign, it was 90 KB. Remember that if you have 2 immages you have to count them together.

uhm you may think it won't hurt the site load but when we have 100,000+ members that are active on these forums then uhm it adds up mate

I believe this was mentioned before and the main reason it stays the way it is, is because many users still have 56-64k connections and many users browse with mobile phones, et cetera. I can relate to this because if I have exceeded my monthly download limit I get set to 64k and it really is not fun, having said that, I believe it should remain the same.

and... if u dont want any pictures to load if u got slow connection, u can set your browser or mobile to not load pictures at all
