Recently, rights to posting a 'known scammers' betting list in the sports forum has been banned, on the grounds that gambling is not supported by d2jsp.

They did not ban the betting, only banned posting lists of known scammers to avoid while betting.

agreed .. i dont get why that jeight closed the lists .. and i dont get why hes still on jsp rofl he could be my fucking dad

Agree 100%.

This situation was handled very poorly by Jeight. He made a post with 1 sentence banning these lists, with no explanation or anything.

It doesn't make sense to allow betting, but then not allow lists to be posted which makes betting safer, and then also allow these lists to be in someones profile!

You know what, by posting this they now know for sure they did the good thing.

By getting welched more and more, people will eventually stop gambling on JSP, unless with friends they trust.

Sad, but the truth.

They're ready to let alot of people get scammed, to bring the end of gambling on this site.

Which I think is stupid, since we caught ALOT of scammers on the betting forums, and many of those got locked/scammer tag'd.

We reduced the amount of scammers on jsp, and thats what we get for doing so.

This seems doubtful - just look at Gubers for example - people scam this all the time cause can't get scammer tagged, yet gubers happens all the time.

I'm really hoping there is a better reason for banning the lists other than to encourage scamming, but as of now I cannot see that reason.

It's not because of welching, they welched on these forums at the first place, but then went to scam on D2.

If the mods actually took the time to look into these welchers list, I can guarantee you ALOT of people on D2 wouldn't of gotten scammed, because they would lock them welchers in the first place.

Know what I'm saying?
