Its not really a suggestion but as we all know we are pounded with a lot of pictures around and im totally against any kind of porn around here ( after all this is a trading site ) , so my question is there some kind of banners to define pedophelia and what not on this site , my son is now 6 and im wondering about parental controll

While I would agree with JSP taking a strict stand against this, it's the internet and chances are if people want to post it here, they're going to do so anyway. My only suggestion as to a rule about it is that if CP (what I think you're talking about) is posted, the user should be immediately suspended and have their local police department contacted.

we take a pretty strong stance against pedophilia in any manner already. But if that still isn't enough you could always disable sigs/ava's etc while your son is around.

Doesn't really bother me but I can definitely see where you are coming from

Also certain people in ESCL trading are selling pictures of their asses with other users names on them for fg, not quite what I like to think of trading as..

i have sig+ava+profile pictures all disabled, and i still see personal photo+photo gallery being used or abused.

Any type of threads with that non sense in them are normally closed right away and/or removed from sight.

If you see a thread that isn't you can PM it to a moderator and they will do it, I have done it multiple times.

I completely agree where you are coming from, the majority of them just get by with what seems to be verbals or nothing (I don't know exactly because I can't read the PM's) because I dont' see any warn increase, which enables the reason to do it again.

and bjones9 - That is ridiculous. I see that ALL the time and should not be allowed in a sig or avatar.

Well 6 year olds arent probably going to have an account on here...

you could always block all signatures and avatars and block images

It's not only about young children using jsp but the fact that they could look at the screen at any time and be subjected to this sort of thing and think that it is ok

I don't see why we should have to do that? Pictures like that posted in public are what makes the girls these days do what they are doing.

So why stop?



Disable sigs/ava, if it's revealing I'm sure action would be taken.
