So yeah;
This is just a function used on PHPBB forums, and the admin can choose to make it impossible for a user to wear a sig/ava over "x height/x width/ x size" etc..
(it's a option in the admin control panel)

ANYWAYS, getting to my point.

Paul, why don't you just do the same thing?
Make it impossible for people to violate the size rules.

By the way, I'm not making a poll, this is basically just suggesting that paul force the sig and ava rules.

This would be good,
So no one would get warned for having exceeded sig/ava

Like a pop-up would pop up saying it exceeds the limit

could be dodged with ease... if you have access to the uploaded images, you could simply use an image that fits the requirements at the start, and later delete the old image on your webspace (or photobucket) and replace it with a bigger one.

checking the size everytime when the signature is displayed is not efficient.

Like Cigarbox said.

Not many people on jsp would be clever enough to do that.
And most of the people that have big sigs don't know it's violating the rules.

Another positive would be, if it was introduced and a person used that method to use a larger sig, that there really would be no need for the appropriate persons to PM the user about sig violations and hand out PM warns. They have obviously gone out of there way to break the clear, set rules and should be punished immediately.
