When sending messages for trades, I usually check the "Save a Copy of this Message in my Sent folder" box out of instinct, because I know that having a screenshot of that message can sometimes be the difference between letting someone get away with scamming or getting them locked.
So often in the S/A section I see helpers asking the people to make sure that they didn't save a copy of the message. No one ever does this because they aren't expecting to get scammed.

What I am suggesting is to have a setting somewhere so you can tell it to automatically check the box or not. This would be very useful to me, and could even possibly prevent scamming (or at least get them locked quicker). I personally don't mind emptying my message box out after about 20 messages or so (20 in the inbox, 20 in the sent, and usually around 10 in the archive).
This would not affect the people who didn't want to use it, and I can't see any problem with the site load.

Please, if you vote no give me an intelligible reason why.
I always see people just say "bad idea" but if you give me a good reason then I won't bump this.

True, not needed.
Keep pm's of a trade until trade is successfully completed.

[x] No from me, sorry sad.gif

You are kinda right though.

Anyone who doesn't wish to use it can simply not do anything and it will all be the same.
But anyone who does need/want it can change their settings to use it wacko.gif
