Americas server has been split into multiple servers like Americas1 and Americas2. You cannot trade/play with people on different servers even with friend list join and there is no way to force yourself into 1 or 2. In order to do something together you have to quit game and relaunch and hope you get into 1 together or 2 together, making it impossible when queues are up.

For sure. Basically now there are two NA lobbies. They are separate much like EU and Asia are separate lobbies. However, you don't get to pick which NA lobby you land on. Its random. If you land on one of the .188 lobby you can't join games on the .88 lobby much in the same way you can join games on EU or Asia. Except you can't friend join across the two NA lobbies like you can with EU and Asia.

I don't even know if F list bypasses this. I've been encountering problems with f list join.

Friend join doesn't bypass the NA server lobbies. Still says it doesn't exist if you're on opposing lobbies. Friend join works from EU to NA or Asia to NA, but not NA .188 to NA .88

Ok, so when trading we need to know which lobby we're in and PM the other party that info so they can try and get in it too.

Seems annoying, but life will find a way.

Even that isn't working. Once you get to the "Lobby" the value of the ip is determining what you can and can't join.
