Yeah, the CBF opens up a ring slot which is quite useful.
At any rate 35 fg works for me.

gf barrb on travincal doesnt need cbf,...

Depends on what build you do. Berzerk 100% wants cbf.
WW/merc kills doesnt need cbf.

ive used runemaster the same way but never split 50/50. ist/lem

i would use grief and cbf runeword shield,
but each to its own i guess.
