many servers, low supply. I agree though, anyone paying that price right now is just doing so out of desperation. It'll keep falling.

Every day that passes new milestones are hit. The first guy hit 60 in 3 days, and the day after hundreds hit 60. At that scale, this weekend all T5 ranges will be met and explored, and billions in gold are generated a day. It was just Sunday where blues where the shit and were at 300 gold each. Now they are around 20-50 and all chat is just spammed with T4 stuff and above. I've already salvaged tons of blues. We will all get to the point in two weeks where you will look at an epic and salvage it without hesitation.

The first shako sold at 12k fg at launch. It was within 3 hours I think. The next person sold one at 3k and now its a handful.

Very true but Diablo 2 was a game everything was known about. everyone knew optimal ways to farm etc. This is new for the majority of people.

yeah but come on you can make 1000 gold by chopping down starting trees for an hour or two... and people want in excess of 500fg for this?
were talking gold here, the one thing that everything can be sold for not a specific item that everybody wants. I guess if people are willing to pay these prices it would be stupid not to sell it at that price though i guess.
Might jump on the bandwagon and make a quick buck, i was just curious why 1000g is seen as high value as it is given how readily available currency is, especially in the beginning when even basic resources sell well to new players.

two hours to make 5$ of fg sounds fair to me tbh

some are charging 700fg / 1000g thats more like $20-25.

1000fg is still only $10 of forum gold for two hours of work. If you dont want to pay that price then dont. not sure why you are complaining. Why dont you sell your gold for cheaper and drive the price down?

The gold purchases are to buy housing. Its the most established price, most expensive purchase, and has the biggest benefits globally (fees, standing etc.).
