FG has been going for $1 per 100fg for years. As an 07 you should know this. It does vary from time to time but that has been the standard for as long as I have been on D2jsp. Feel free to ask anyone with donor forum access.

You're assuming all the newbies that made accounts for new world, or that havn't bought FG with real money and donated have access to these methods.
1000fg through the purchase screen is about $35. To them donor forum doesnt exist, they are selling based on not knowing that information, make sense?

New people joining the forum doesn't change the standard price as it has always been. Also you are far from a noob to D2jsp and you are the one complaining. I have seen plenty of new d2jsp users not falling for the trap of buying fg directly and selling games on steam.

Again i'm not complaining at all, i was merely asking for a reason why gold is priced so highly.
If anything i was shocked that people are willing to pay that price so i was asking why is that so?
But getting a house early for the permanent benefits faster instead of grinding out the gold makes sense, are there any other reasons that come to mind?

A lot of people have more money than time. They don't have two hours to farm trees and would rather not worry about gold making.

This is the new world forum as a whole. It is not only for trading so don't feel bad.

I've been playing since launch and have about 6k in gold without selling anything on the post (im average in all trades and spent gold with fees and crafts which brought me down a good amount). It would be the absolute worst decision in game financially to buy a house. If I suddenly had a burst of 7k in game gold from buying it here, a purchase towards a house would be the best choice financially.
