On one hand I understand what he was trying to do, their pound needed stabilization in an incredibly high inflammatory environment. On other hand yeah the liquidity hurts underlying inflation. Seems like a fucked situation, idk what winning move was. Glad not my problem

U.S in the same boat. Stuck between inflation and recession, no good solution here.

America is a little different because we have, by a widening margin, a powerful currency whereas pound is just crumbling , on top of their inflation fears
