Have you got these basics for covered?

Avoid Financial Advisors at all costs
If 401k, paying to get maximum employer match.
Pay down your high interest debt next.
If mortgage, ensure you don't pay PMI.
Max IRA next.
Brokerage SAP500 or try your own strategies which likely won't perform as good.

Beyond that, timing is your greatest ally, don't FOMO, Geopolitical ongoings highly influence the macro trends, so good to stay ahead on news.

I'm an amateur but have had success with the above.

Beyond that, was doing crypto minute trades on Binance before they booted US patrons off platform. Forecasting algorithms are hard, need high volume and they still wild ass guess, best to target short term exposure on crypto trades. Keep your maker taker fees low as hell

If you a math wizz, you could model your own multi variable regressions to identify your ins/out targets. (Math for cause effect relations)

Most look at analytics on the trend Klines aka Candles, but the Order Book spread and changes are just as telling.

Can i suggest you read up on Warren Buffet? His (proven) investment strategy and relatively simple lifestyle. Even if you dont agree with his methods, it's a good perspective to know.

How old are you?

Edit: Checked your profile. RedFromWinter posted some good stuff. I'd recommending maxing out your Roth IRA as a high priority. Get a nice growth ETF in there and let that baby snowball, you're young

Investing comes from doing research on long term companies or stocks then putting that money to never touch again untill you retire. Too many get rich quick chasing losers and gamblers around. Get rich slow and steady.
