I had almost 3k in it but I'm thinking

If it went up 30% which would be crazy

I am only making 900$

After fees and everything closer to 800

So I'm tying up and risking 3k to make 800

Seems terrible

Whereas 100k in it would make 30k. Which is substantial

With lower amounts your payout isn't enough to justify the risk

Bitcoin will become the global reserve asset within the next 20-30 years if not much faster. Russians just announced they will accept Bitcoin for their oil & gas nat export, this is a pretty huge deal. The USD and the petrodollar as the global reserve currency is done, much of the general public doesn't know it yet because the shock is still to come but it's still very, very early for BTC.

It's easily gonna do 10-20 fold from here in the long run, for a 3k investment that's still nothing you won't be able to retire from that but you can adopt a Bitcoin standard just like our grand parents would buy physical metal because it retains it's value. All excess saving should go into Bitcoin

boomer coin
Its like gold it could just increase value slowly each year. You’re gonna have old crusty boomers saying its the best investment just like they do for gold. it should be safe to throw profits into but don’t expect to get rich off of a few grand.

A lot of people put like 80% into bitcoin/ eth and the 15-20%% they put into riskier lower cap stuff and up to 0-5% into gambling chitcoins. If you want rich quick do more low cap stuff (or broke quick :D )

Ppl that can afford to put 100k in probably see a 30k profit as being as substantial as someone putting 3k in and making 1k
100k to 130k isn’t going to substantially change their lives

shitcoins are shit this year sadly.
I had some good ones last year, best one being Rainbow that almost x30'd my investment. not godly, but quite satisfied. Rainbow profits payed for my and fiancee's flight tickets for holidays, 25 days of expenses (food, accomodation, rent a car, christmas presents) and still had a good chunk of it left. Can't complain AT ALL.

in the meantime, while waiting for shitcoins to become bomb again, I throw everything in Ethereum that's handled by a trading company. They double'd my Eth amount from last year so by Eth making x5 itself, and them doubling eth amount for me, I can't complain making x10 on a boomer coin :D
Started new contract for another 12 months, and opened another one as well in Polkadot so we'll see how that works.

except Eth which is my "serious" investment, and shitcoins that I'm doing nothing with for the moment, I have few K usd in each of these:
CHZ, SAND, ENJ, LRC, YGG, DOGE

why can't someone who's heavy into crypto ever speak about the 'end of days' that will upend the financial systems in terms of probability rather than outright certainty? this shilling zealotry saying you're absolutely SURE something WILL happen so to BUY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN EARLY is so out of place in the investment world. nothing is for certain, no matter how likely you think it is. like guy in post #2, you didn't ask, but it would help your cause to present things in an unbiased manner in order to actually convince more people that crypto is legitimately worth their time/money/attention.

You need to keep it 12 months ? Huu thats bad, mine I can withdraw whenever I want.
I mean the eth hodlers since 2 + years may dump the price once they can sell, not even accounting the next true bear market

nah, I can cashout X amount whenever I want. could be just a part of it or a whole sum, but I gotta pay something like 10% of total crypto to cash it out then. still not bad considering they made me 1000% on eth lmao
or I can wait till contract ends (12 months) and cash out without addiotonal fees. Friend that has btc contract with them cashes out part of his btc investment every year which lasts him for a year of comfortable living without a job, rest is kept with them to be doubled again.
