Im a 30 years old man and for the first time i got time to learn something like 24/7 and i would like to learn how to do "trading" i dont have a lot money, but i would like to learn something about it.

99% of amateur day traders usually end up losing money. I think it's important to really establish your base before you go into the world of trading. Even doing covered calls is a nice addition once you can really put together a portfolio. You're only 30, still have tons of time to grow wealth.

30 years worth of IRA Contributions for example.

Professional mutual fund management typically under performs the s&p 500 and they have dedicated, and educated staff who are doing this as their day jobs.

Rule of 72. When considering the average return you still have time to essentially make 100% multiple times on your money before considering to slow down unless you're oping yo retire by 40.

The real winners off the market is the large financial institutions that broker placements. They're the ones with advanced buy options well below IPO price who make above average returns because its simply designed in their favour.

Don't take this as advice. Just something to consider.

really important not to invest with low conviction or you will end up panic selling and getting rekt

You should just read something like the Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Ghram. Go for the revised edition though. The markets changed.

Don't start with books like Alpha Master's or How to Trade for a Living. You're just going to end up trying to copy paste some method and it's not going to work out.

There's no abs in two weeks. You're going to potentially not return anything for years and it certainly won't replace a day job.

I'm Debbi downer though. I could be wrong and you may have a natural ability to do it.
