Have an ebay account with a 08 joindate. Was wondering what stuff to sell. Still worth it these days with those high fees?

My wife made some money several years ago by selling things from goodwill and yard sales on ***

She found some beanie babies are a goodwill, bought them for $2 each and sold for $15 each. Did a ton of clothes. You can find good shoes sometimes. Just gotta know what to look for.

Definitely worth it with fees... think about the expenses to open a brick and mortar shop....eBay is much cheaper and reaches a lot more people... you would be surprised what sells

Do you know how to search the completed/sold section on eBay? It’s a great tool for doing research... if you look up a item to see if it’s worth listing the prices can be off because well I can shit in a box and list it for 50k... the sold section will show you the true amounts an item actually sold for and not just listed for...I could give a lot of suggestions on what to look for as I’ve done this for a long time... thrift stores yard sales goodwills sometimes flea markets are best places to find product...I’d start by just randomly looking up shit at your house to get a feel on how it works maybe list a few items at your house you don’t use

My wife said high end ties from thrift stores are high margin and low effort. You can find them for a few bucks from really high end brands like Brooks Brothers and sell them on ebay for like 100x what you bought them for.

Do you ever get fraudulent chargebacks?

No point selling stuff for very low margins if u get frequent chargebacks
