ya i somehow was thinking if i sell a stock and take a profit on it, that the capital gains tax could somehow be offset by losing money on a different stock.......but all it would do is lower the amount of capital gains i would have to pay


i was thinking that i could take risky investments and just selling if i lost the amount i owed in taxes so i wouldnt have to pay them... hhahaha ya makes no sense
