What are people's thoughts on a big crash again?

Do you think it'll keep rising for a long time or the near future there will be another giant drop?

For reference I am mainly talking about BTC, if BTC crashes how do alt coins get affected?

I'm wagering it goes up in long term, there has been a lot of institutional and mass public support since last crash. I was blown away that it got past 30k for so long given price action trend in October vs November. All that being said, I cashed out some gains, hoping for another dip back to 50k.

if BTC drops off you might see alts rally before they die too.

my guess has always been this bull run will reach 80k btc price then die out. but its got a lot of steam.

If it crashes it means I load up on GPUs and start mining waiting for the next pump.

Although I think a "crash" still ends significantly higher than the last time it fell.

Buying into coin base when market opens. So no crash please.

Bubbles always go pop

I’ve held my btc since 300$ and I just laugh at all the crashes and all the people that say to sell.
Just buy and hold.
In the end, there will only be a few big coins and most of the alts will disappear

this mainly.

like every asset that is traded between a large group of investors (aka quasi-informed speculators) it will go up and down based on large-scale developments that no one (here at least) can control.

different boom periods will yield different alt coins most of the time. mainly due to tech advancements and much better strategies at maximizing crypto utility. for every doge or stellar or even ltc that hangs around there are scores that fade and maybe they stay afloat and get re-pumped but they rarely approach their former glory.

i too am very straightforward in my investing: i buy and hodl. i do this with equities and crypto and other assets. to those who trade frequently and do well i give them props as it seems easy in theory but in reality the risk of losing your shirt is too beyond my tolerance level. some light “gambling” with fun money im not above though
