got like 10k to invest

I think ebay is a rip-off because they take like 10% of sales... and you pay even more taxes after 20k sales

etsy might be nice, I think you get all the funds if i'm not mistaken but not sure

craigslist is kool... but don't know where to start




was thinking of buying / selling things like cars / boats / electronics




any other ideas? possible machinery?

maybe like a big lawn mower and mow yards?

was thinking of possibly farming as well... I have 10 acres available to me if necessary

livestock seemed foolish... they just eat to much




idk... best I could come up with so far for safe route would be just invest it all in Cash Deposit funds that take like 5 years but you make like 12% interest after 5 years (called a CD Fund)

The other option... just put it all aside for a house... but I think the CD fund for 5 years might be smarter and just save up for 5 years first

If you want to make good money, you'll seriously look into the stock market. Or look into real estate.

Example : I recently purchased 2 mobile homes with around 5k down each. Both in the same lot, 120k each(4bed,2bath). 240k investment. In my town, I can rent these for exactly what I'd rent a "normal" house, but purchased it for a fraction of the cost.
So the mortgage I put to start with on 30 years, (Going to refinance ofc). I pay around $600 a month for mortgage and tax. I rent them for 1250 each. 2500 a month. Save half incase shit breaks.. 1250 a month of passive income.

Or you could look into like lendingclub, basically you lend money just like a bank and get interest on the loan.

A CD is a Certificate of Deposit, not Cash Deposit. They also don't earn anywhere close to 12% over 5 years. Probably closer to 1.2%

Put it in liquid investments, some stocks in a tech company you think are offering something that will be popular, or healthcare looking at personal medicine (which will be a huge industry in the next few decades).

Do 5k low risk and 5k high risk.
