So one of my graphics cards on my crypto mining rig got to 79 degrees today (CELSIUS) which is 174.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

I am relatively certain pretty much all plastic starts melting at 212 degrees F.

ISO plastic melting off my graphics card, PST.

Most plastic does not melt at 212 F or less.

"Different types of plastics have drastically different melting points, which means some plastics such as polyvinyl chloride plastics can melt at as low as 165 degrees Fahrenheit, while other types such as the plastic in Teflon cookware will not melt until they reach temperatures of around 600 degrees or hotter. Most sturdy plastics will melt before 500 degrees."

79 degrees Celsius is pretty mundane for a high end GPU. You managed to set up a cryptocurrency mining rig, yet you don’t know this?
