I wanted to try investing after a friend recommended it. Put 600 quid in today through an online broker - £150 across 4 separate funds that i researched a bit beforehand.

Does anyone have a lot of experience with this

don't mess with penny stocks. One gamble is to buy into a big company and hope for a good year.

Really depends on what you're looking to get in returns or even if you're willing to lose it all.

I don't invest in the stock market, i only invest in gold. I usually find it in other people's houses when the are not at home

Buy low (priced drugs from darknet vendors), sell a high.

I have index funds. They're pretty safe, but you know that.

Also have a money market account, but it's short-term against losing from inflation for money I'll need soon (hopefully down payment on a multi-unit home).
