Been investing for awhile and thought I'd post my portfolio positions and give/receive advice for anyone that wants to discuss potential investments

First solar (fslr) 8.49%
Patrick industries (patk) 32.59% up 16% today after earnings :)
Euo (double leveraged etf short euro vs. Usd) 26.68%
cisco (csco) 5.14%
Voo (vanguard s&p etf) 25.34%
Cash 1.76%

Recent investments I've sold
Nbg ( what a failure lost 50% in a couple months)
gpro got in just after ipo and sold for a nice profit
Bac
Jpm

Upcoming events:
Fslr earnings

Inverse etf on Euro since over short- mid term it's not gaining traction against the $?

Etrades is a good place to start out, low fees and gives you lots of research tools

etrade is how i started and its pretty easy to set up

before making any trades i think its highly beneficial to get some basic knowledge on investing
its crucial to understand your risk tolerance and not to get caught up in get rich quick schemes that you might read somewhere (if its too good to be true, it is)

i'd recommend reading a random walk down wall street, its a great book for beginners that will help you get started with investing

as previously mentioned, exchange traded funds which track the market (like my investment in voo) are considered safe and a nice start to investment-- (some people argue this is the best investment)
