Right now, im probably saving ~ 25% of my gross salary. Prior to that, it was like 35% but i recently took out a loan for a car.

I put up to what my employer matches for my 401k which goes to several funds in which it hits a 80/20 ratio. Also have a roth ira in which i have some target retirement funds.

other than that, i occasionally speculate with some stocks. I plan to retire when i feel i have enough money and do not feel like working any more.

i predict that there will be a replacement of manual labor jobs with automated jobs, and that most of what is considered 'work' will be retired within 25 years.
