anyone else use this.. is it actually worth the upfront cost of equipment/electricity?
guy at work keeps talking about it so waiting to hear from him how it works out. just curious if anyone else has had success with this and what type of equipment you used.

I wouldn't touch it. Probably one of many steps towards a global currency. Each coin is worth about $198 US. I would have to research more on how it's regulated, monitored etc... Still taxed as they have to verify your identity and send it in to the govt lol.

i wouldnt touch bitcoins with normal hardware. even the 7k amd card series are slow as hell and you will pull little to no profits from pay-per-share pool mining or tring to mine solo.

if you want to try to get into this go purchase a 160$ asic computer that outputs close to 300 times the number of hashes gpus do.

bitcoin is bullshit. yea when the economy and society collapses bitcoin will be useless, stock up on guns and ammo now, 2nd revolution is approaching, the spirit of 1776
