Anyone use etrade, etc.

Whats it cost?
Are there fees for transactions?
Is it worth it?
Do you have to pay taxes on gains? Is that a big deal?

You do realize when you buy stocks, you don't get the money even if the stocks go up.
You have to sell them back to someone who buys it

$5 trades, once when u buy once when u sell
so my suggestion is if u buy stocks buy them large in bulk so when price goes up u make more than a few bucks, and hold on to it til u break even+

but also my advice is dont play stocks in this economy, i bought stocks before the end of summer and no surprise they plummeted, also prepare for a second recession
