It's the little items I find I am far less tight on.
I still consider every large purchase for a lengthy amount of time, weighing out actual future use, impact on future value of investments, etc. So guess I'm not at the wealth level of just splurging.
But I have noticed attitude twords what I'd call daily items shift. Want it from the grocery store, whatever just grab it. Few hundred dollar item that you don't really need, go for it.
I don't know if I'll ever hit the wealth of splurging. Currently in excess of 3m, 2.9 liquid.
I suspect upbringing matters and I was not brought up in an environment where splurging was ever on the table. I had never been on a vacation or outside my own province with the exception of a school trip to PEI lmao until I was an adult working.
Ever since I burned money on a roomba I couldn't be bothered to maintain ive stopped on anything north of $100 unless i have a reason. Im surprised at 2.9 liquid youre hesitant to splurge. You could effectively retire on that in canada.
Whats a splurge? Another house or another packet of ramen?
If you can afford to live for 12 months without worry you can splurge.
Toys, gadgets, experiences, material things etc. Whatever floats your boat.
I dont want for much but do have some ludicrously expensive things (cars) I want to get but dont want wait till my 60s to get them when your body can't handle it anymore
