Tips tricks?

Go big?

Start small?

Any guidance is appreciated

Thanks.

If the US dollar takes another hit and the US gets a credit downgrade it will definitely go up.
Might be worth grabbing a couple coins if you really have the cash
Considering 1 BTC is 113,000 USD

That Bitcoin actually isnt fungible and does not work as a currency
As documented over there:
https://sethforprivacy.com/posts/fungibility-graveyard/
It can be blocked and censored and even when buying from coinbase & binance u can get investigated for a crime u had no part in, just because they sold u 70% of dirty bitcoin:
btc lack of fungibility at it again...
someone that tried to "invest" in btc by purchasing them on binance and coinbase ending up with 70% of them being dirty

Bitcoin is a complete failure and it's lack of privacy by default leads to people getting targetted and often actually dying:

It's a fork of BISQ (the original bitcoin P2P decentralized exchange) and recently overtook Bisq in daily volume so should be the prefered option even for bitcoin maximalists

Tips tricks?
dont trust or hold in centralized exchanges, they will all inevitably steal your money
or in the case of coinbase, sell to the highest bidder ur KYC data, ID scan, home address and account password

small amounts, get used to the technology
u can store in paper wallets as "cold wallet" (just writing the seed on a piece of paper or in encrypted storage with backups)
for "hot wallet", if u ever use it as actual currency there's cake wallet on mobile which supports Bitcoin and even the purchase of giftcards directly within the app
(amazon, steam, blizzard, pretty much anything)
always backup your seed

Or alternatively u could run ur own node on desktop
