I think a lot of the vandals seen on the news are pretty small % but the news blows it up
I live in Bay area California, home of Teslas and i havent seen any anti-tesla stuff myself … and also see Teslas everywhere on the road
I would assume so, but perception is a powerful thing, and forsure you will still see them on the road they still have been in the top group of sellers in the world in the past few years. They were costly too, people wont just dump them, but you will see a decline in sales I imagine over the next year and potentially further, depending on what he keeps talking about.
Target I don't mean vandalism only, I mean how people think of you, are you going to be the target of peoples negative thoughts and perceptions, who you represent by buying that vehicle, I think that will stop more sales, not the worry of vandalism.
They will have to offer such a far superior product for people to consider buying one. For instance if you're in the market now for an EV, you're going to say with bother with even the potential hassle of what people think if there's a comparable product, just buy something else that is not swirling with negativity right now unless the other product, while having negative connotations attached, is so much better you still go with it.
