futures up on softer than expected CPI

I actually expect the CPI to be lower in like ~2months from now, it takes a awhile for real time data to show up gov't stats. Current CPI is not capturing the full extent of all the gov't job cuts and other slowing indicators (i.e. crude wti falling to ~$67usd/barrel from $70 in feb.)

As CPI trends down rate cuts are back on the table. As rate cuts happen and we can refi the debt cheaper i expect some of these aggro policies i.e. tarrifs to be softened.

always some story, tariffs , war , data reports, but in the end seasonality prevailing. Looking for 583-589 by 3/19-3/24. I’m already positioned but if I wasn’t I would be playing Reddit for the bounce

I mis-timed the dip by 1.5 weeks.. all good

I got greedy too and started buying too early, got baited by some prices and didn’t respect the plan

I have a little money coming in tomorrow, not going to sit on it, ill invest as it comes in as always but I don't think were done yet.


Tariffs while a lot of noise and not actually in place in a lot of cases have immediate impact, at-least from what I am seeing in my day to day work. Commercial construction and minerals are two fields i'm in and there's immediate costs happening.
