November 5th (Eastern Time) - $ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ ETF (SQQQ.US)$ is about to implement a 1-for-5 reverse stock split of shares. The shares will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis from November 7th, 2024.

Kinda interesting, WF actually doesn’t have any of my shares right now. When this happens pro shares rescinds the existing shares and then resends them out. So in the brokerage I’m seeing 30,000 shares at cost basis of 6.89 but when Wells Fargo receives the shares from pro shares cost basis and shares get updated. They said it’s usually same day as split but for whatever reason proshares hasn’t done it , expect it by tomorrow day end

I added puts today cuz I don’t want to fuck up the average while it still says Incorrect average . Last thing I wanna do is have it average up some crazy amount when im trying to average down and have to call them again

But im hoping for a dip too cuz im only 1/3 deployed for my swing position (tqqq). Total swing position size is $60k usd.. will increase this amount next year.

I am being pretty tactical about the shorts, when I am green I am quick to take profits. Like last entry average was 6.9x and I exited at 7.45 , not the top 7.6 . Same with spy puts than ran an extra 300% from where I sold but took profits out

I still have a lot of cash tho and also my largest position is Tesla so I am not completely short

Also all retirement accounts are still dca index funds
