I used to own a lot of DIS during covid…. Bought at 100, held to 200 then liquidated at 150

Im surprised its been so bearish and stuck at these levels for so long

Even with old CEO back its struggling to rise.. i stopped looking at it even tho their parks are still killing it

I accept that this has become an emotional pick for me. Picked it up heavy during covid , didn’t sell at 199 or whatever the peak was, held the entire way down. Bought back again heavy in the 80s, and just keep holding

Have utilized this time with a lot of covered calls, but undoubtedly the money would have been better served elsewhere

I still think it’s a matter of when not if

Intellectual content library is too massive

But as we can see from looking at wbd intellectual content alone is enough

I had to remove it and tossed the proceeds into the AI / Chip trend. I think my avg was around 120 and sold it for around 90-95, ultimately the loss gets utilized though at 47% since I was able to carry the full thing back against prior years capital gains.

Do I think it will come back, yes but i've done this before and while it eventually goes green again, it never seems to also recoup all the lost opportunity cost.

DIS has been absolute dogshit for me, i tried selling at ~120 but had compliance at my job hold me back. Peltz should have won that proxy battle, instead institutional funds got together and basically said no to something that would actually have been beneficial. Company continues to squander IP, at this point I've lost hope for Star Wars with the garbage they keep churning out. They keep getting the same signal from consumers, to steer away from pushing cultural/woke bs but they continue to do so, at the detriment of the stock holder.

Wouldnt be bad idea to just hold cash for now and wait for a bigger dip … Aug - Oct range we might see a bigger dip

I would add more Tsla if it drops below 200 again but that would be quite bearish if it dropped back down there

Thanks for sharing :)

I'm hoping AMD ER isn't so great and creates a nice buy opportunity on either it or NVDA.

Nvidia sitting at around 100 day moving average, for anyone looking to enter/add might be a good place to scale in here. Maybe it gives back and falls to around ~90 mark where there was a lot of previous support/resistance.

Generally think bigh tech is giving back some of the gains only to rally in year end. SP500 target was around 5600 from many big analysts. Think we probably see some softness, then getting to that level by year end.

I think so too… Q4 is usually bullish during election years
