if you only held tesla the last 6 months when the market is breaking records, it can take a mental toll even if your horizon is longterm. FOMO is an undeniable phenomenon only worsened when you are actually losing money

Agreed. Your method is diverse and sound.

I just have a personal thing for conviction and concentration and the scenario you mentioned about picking the wrong single stock can be brutal when you’re wrong. I do have a portfolio of under 10 stocks but i like to buy heavily 1-2 stocks during a buy period (with proper stop-loss in place).
