yeah i agree but personally think 45k is the floor, or whatever Musk got Tesla in at. way too much institutional buying and limited supply now. imagine saying thats where you’d be a for sure buyer at like 4 years ago heck even 1 year ago

Working it out the last week at my residential electricity rate BTC would have to go down to like 15k before mining on a 3080 wouldn't be profitable anymore. No wonder GPUs are basically impossible to find. They print money.

I was trying to do some scientific computing in my basement this last year. Bought some engineering sample Epyc 7742. Turned them to mining monero recently. They're not amazing, but they make a couple bucks a day. If XRM decides to take off someday I'll be very happy.

it took off in late 2017 early 2018. It was a great project then and i dont mine but better off aiming elsewhere now imo. there are some heads on here who seem pretty knowledgeable about mining who probably have better insights. then again a lot of the newer stuff isnt even based on mining now

I see simple math here:

Those who hate missed the 21st century Gold Rush.

Those who praise are enjoying the spoils of it.

Been in BTC since 2016 and could say that its completely changed my life.

What do you mean by blip? An increase in USD value I suppose right?

Meant USD value is diluted when stimulus money is magically issued by the fed. Everything else *USD gains relative when supply suddenly increased. My snail mail stimmy check was sent mar 26, so I assume others are getting there's, dumping into crypto. Just my 2 cents
