1 simple rule: never sell for less than price you bought it at. Breaking even is the lowest you should sell. Dont be loyal to the company and hope for a miracle turnaround.

There is actually an exception, when a stock is tanking because it is going out of business you may as well sell it before it reaches 0.
Obviously it's not ideal and it will take some experience to know when that will happen.

right now I'm going big on medical marijuana, it has already made me a lot of money and in Canada it is scheduled to be legalized next year so mad gains $$$

but for smart investments with less risk I like Canadian banks like TD or Scotiabank, these guys pay big fat dividends which you can re invest for compounded interest over the years = retire early and love life.

it's all just gambling but with better odds than the casino if you do your homework lol

I also like some canadian water and forestry companies for the long term.

of course land and or real estate should be in the portfolio if you are serious about investing

actually that was more accurate in the past, the developed world is rapidly becoming more and more accommodating to soft and shitty people.
Natural selection is happening less and less because of all the safety policies and procedures and all the fucking feelings.

More bad people means more slaves who work for good people and buy shit they don't need to keep good people wealthy while they hate their lives so they eat and drink garbage to feel better which gives them cancer which also helps good people stay wealthy.
