Small Crypto mining group

I don't really understand since its outside my knowledge base, but you take a physical mine for instance, its value is derived from its assets, reserves and its ability to control its capx, cogs and operating costs to ultimately result in a profit. But they have land claims that have reserves.

How is a digital mining company worth anything more than their assets they currently have? Do they have some digital claim.

I dont really understand yet.

Like on their prospectus they have around 400M of net assets, well why is it now worth 1.7B based on share price.

AI and crypto valuations don’t follow logic. Take snow for example with 65 billion market cap and 2-3 billion yearly revenue. I mean I own this and have been riding it but it still makes no sense

There is nothing to understand, markets are irrational. ex bonk jumped 150x in 2 months span

because people think the assets will increase in value and want to get in before that happens. Basically they want exposure to crypto without buying crypto.

I mean there must be lots of crypto ETFs out there that do that but are valued completely by the underlying assets.

Again though clearly I don't know the digital asset or crypto world well.
