Couldn't imagine honestly sitting on cash, i'd always just be second guessing, since nearly every long-term study shows that just missing the best few days in the market will cut your results by over 50% over say a 7 year period. Rather just ride short-term turbulence not having any stress of timing anything. You also have history on your side showing that it yields the best results.

when I say cash I mean stablecoins usdt. I got over +50% in 1 month, who wouldn't TP lmao

Isn't that the way though, you believe the market has over punished something that has good fundamentals or a good foreseeable future in the long-term but short term you lose because you don't time the bottom correctly, end up feeling like you caught a knife and are just happy to get the fuck out when you hit even, even though your initial analysis told you it should go beyond that and for some reason that dip past what you thought was the bottom completely changed how you thought about the stock.

Humans, we are emotional beings, we ignore our own logic so easily the second we lose.

I did the same thing with the SNC-Lavilin scandal, thought it timed the bottom knowing Quebec would never let their darling company actually go under considering how much the provincial gov't and companies in Quebec hold SNC-Lavilin in their pension funds, but it kept going down, and eventually i went slightly above my cost so i sold out, would have nearly a 100% gain if I just kept to my own logic because of course , as predicted Quebec didn't let it tank, but I couldn't hold to my own logic because of that initial unrealized loss. Makes you doubt everything.

If you’re playing seasonality, which has generally been my approach

Should be testing august bottom 2nd/3rd week of November, which coincides with a gap fill as well at spy 436

This is historically followed by a huge run up into and including election year

I’ll add a few names and close hedges if we get to that level

Personally wanting to increase Tesla position

Also thinking of starting lucid position. Would appreciate hive thoughts on this company. The 2025 lucid gravity looks sick as fuck tbh but who knows if they will survive until then

Your statement is 100% facts goddamn

Bought NVDA at 137 with the thesis that it was undervalued and bad news piling non-stop. It crashes harder to 108. When i finally recovered to my buy-in price, i thought it might not bounce back as well as I’d hope. Then it ends up being the best stock of 2023 soon after I exited. Story of my life.

I work in Fremont, CA where Lucid is headquartered. Rarely see any Lucids on the road. I think the company is struggling big time, being a new EV company during this high interest environment.

On the other hand, when i drive around, ill just see Teslas non-stop, everywhere you turn your head. Fremont people sure loves Tesla.

Edit: I see way more Rivian cars than Lucid on the road

Yeah I own rivian , healthy average so just holding this one

Tesla I want more of, hopefully these public criticisms will bring down the stock more

Thanks for your lucid insight. They are definitely burning through cash. I hate those gotta catch all the Pokémon kind of situations. Streaming wars, ev wars, ad wars, etc
