I have it in my calendar to either load up on bonds, XLB.to by Friday or not. In a state of decision paralysis. I would be on margin which makes the decision making even harder since I am not willing to close out any other positions to reallocate.

What bonds specifically are you looking at, do you have any?

Canadian bond ETF, all holdings with 10+ year maturity with 60% being 20 years. Primarily gov't bonds.

I’m of the strong opinion interest rates this cycle have peaked. Maybe 25-50 cents left which is negligible at this amount, Canadian and American central banks have been in lock step. I think for young guys like us who might not have had bond exposure before now, worth a look
