Nice gain, I made 5% on TSLA and am happy with it.

Also sold some long positions because I expect some downward volatility in the coming months.

September is historically extremely volatile. History suggests rapid 5% rise that will sell off and over the last decade the month usually closes a few percent lower than what it opened. Leading into a weak October

I am not gonna do anything fancy. Will plan to sell calls and re-engage puts middle of the month if historical trend repeats this year

I don’t like them as much generally because they are not given benefit of capital gains tax and taxed higher income bracket

Although most of these I don’t own for the dividend.

whelp, i have a covered call on tsla at 260. that nice pre-market jump is insane wish i could sell at a profit but don't have naked calls enabled. not sure if it's gonna hold past 260.. we'll see at market open
