Why would you short treasury bonds

-minimal movement, even if they are dropping the proportion isn’t that much
-you actually pay 3-4% to hold the short

Only point of bonds is to accumulate your (now 5%) risk free return

If you’re going to short then take your high beta mis valued name and take your shot

Roku for example. The fact this market cap is only a billion from twilio tells you how erroneous some of these valuations are. One is still hemorrhaging money and not growing - one is profitable and growing

I wasn't serious but just implying no one should buy that. It's only debt.
There is nothing backing it but the trust that people put into the country's ability to pay the debt one day (it will never happen lmao)

I agree especially with high yield savings accounts paying 4.5% and u don’t have to have your money tied up if you need it

High yield corporate bonds lost 20% last year and have 6-7% yields, it's arguably a better investment than stocks for the next few years
