I think before the first couple major updates it was awesome. Very sleek, no ads, you actually felt connected to your friends. Now it’s just a gigantic message board and majority of users you see you actually have no connection to

i still remember back in 8th grade my teacher mentioned it in class about how she used it during college. that's what got me interested in it, and i started to use it to network with friends in junior high and early high school. but soon after, i felt the "oh let's post this for likes" attention seeking crap and it became too much. i think it was best used for its original intention (not facemash, but TheFacebook one lol)
