Anyone interviewing in this market? How is it?

I recently learned that I can jump to the Texas market and make $33K-$48K more at same title.

employees market to an extent (especially if you can work like a champ) but a lot of places are planning for a recession, cautious about hiring beyond what is absolutely necessary

No, but it's a great time to obtain a job in my profession. Personally, could also make around $40k more. The net benefit wouldn't be best though. Most of the engineering jobs solicited to me require moving to nasty city or suburban environments with a hike in cost of living. Dumb to move that way with ATH real estate markets IMO.

If you can swing remote with +40K at a mostly recession proof place, that would be gold.

Texas is a good market all around though. Lots of MIC big money jobs. If you got security clearance even easier money
