How much worse will it get? I'm gonna say another 5-10% and then stay there for 6m-1yr

Guess SPY to the low 300s.

All good for those of us in a maturing career stage.

I spend more time thinking about how my parents are doing than my own investments.

mine are a little concerned with the downturn but fine overall fortunately. they’re astute savers/investors and im thankful i have them to mirror and serve as a template from early on

I think just keep on dollar cost averaging at key supports . S&P 200 week average is 3500 and that’s is for sure being tagged at this point

Happy with today's portfolio performance... doubt it will last long.

In other crazy market news; had a recruiter reach out regarding a new position + relocation. After initial conversations, the target salary and bonus we would aim for would be 55% higher than where I am today. (& likely 25-35% higher than my coming promotion)
(doubt I get an offer but would be good experience and allow me to benchmark myself)

Present times are definitely weird

Powell talking, sticking with bringing inflation down while soft landing the market. He did mention rising unemployment but market hasn’t reacted so far.
