annoying day for Tesla . Qqq up 3% but this is down lmao
Also fuck teladoc, about time people realize this is a garbage company with no game plan. Joke of the healthcare world, poor care for an expensive price to the patient. Cathy’s biggest red flag to me was how bullish she was on this

Fixed price contracting and turnkey builds have been the demise of many businesses in the last few years due to supply chain woes. Its going to be interesting to see how this impacts future contracts.
I even feel it here with our small real estate portfolio. Contractors keep coming back with additional asks, "wondering if there's additional money in the budget due to X" despite them signing a fixed contract.
This obviously isn't just contained to buildings. Manufacturing of planes, infrastructure etc. SNC-Lavalin has had a hell of a time wrapping up their last turnkey projects and eliminating that segment all together.
Is this going to trickle down and harm homeowners. Probably. More arguing with contractors over getting nickel and dimed, more artificially inflating the bill and just less control overall over your home renovation or whatever it is you're doing.
Another example today with NFI Group. Fixed cost for busses. They announced they can't deliver on their promises now because of waiting on microprocessors. Now everything will just sit in WIP.
