Nah, it's just a free site. They don't do real money trading there.

If I buy $1000 in stock in a company, and it drops like 50%, can I just keep the stock and hope it goes back up in a few years?

Or just keep it forever?

yes, you own shares of it not the value

it's basically like saying you bought 1000 units of that company's stock and it's yours to sell whenever you please

The site I use, I dont believe I have monthly fees for my brokerage account. I don't think many do, if any.

Where do you find like a list of the fake stocks to buy? I keep clicking on things and it's like articles.

There are no fake stocks, you buy real stocks with fake money. You can buy/sell any publicly traded company, examples: McDonalds, Exxon Mobil, Walmart+++
