Yeah I basically closed down my brokerage accounts when I worked at Citi. Same shit as your friend, had to give notice if I wanted to buy or sell anything only for compliance to take their sweet time. At the time I was only really focusing on very speculative stuff it quickly became nuisance.

Coinbase orders in at $375

the $250 “reference price” is genius given it’s been selling at like $325-$350 in private sales leading up to the public listing. it will drive up the price quite a bit upon trade opening

Such IPO's is like literally having a money printer for larger private investors which is kind of bs.

Like Buffet getting in on SNOW I forget either 90 or 120 and the stock opening at like 240.

Coinbase stock is probably the first way for a lot of investors to have any crypto exposure via brokerages. Its an incredible opportunity. Crypto will definitely run up as well

I think this is why crypto is up a bunch recently.

I have a feel there might be a buy on rumor sell on news with a lot of crypto in the next few weeks maybe months.

Like Coinbase listing is a big spotlight and catalyst but there could be some profit taking if the excitement dissipates with time.

yeah the recent pump is definitely related. crypto is also just in a huge boom period in general

this is a massive step though. we have a huge crypto exchange now being traded on the NASDAQ. it ‘legitimizes’ crypto in a sense

once bear season sets in ill 100% buy some, just a tad worried the IPO will be overpriced based on new ATH on eth/btc/doge/basically everything.

I don't think it's a stretch to assume that Coinbases stock price will be somewhat correlated to crypto asset pricing.

Personally, I'm not buying at this retarded valuation. I'll look for when there's blood in the street because crypto prices are dumping and maybe scoop some shares for trade, possibly investment based on more research (if i can still trade)
