I bought a few lotto tickets in VIAC mid-40s. They're dumping because they just diluted the shit out of their shareholders and analysts are piling on with downgrades. I think 40 is overdone though.
There's a lot of strange shit happening in the market today. You have a lot of high-profile names down massively. I was reading some comments on seeking alpha and apparently, there's some rumor that some large fund was forced to liquidate causing a lot of sales in the market. Who knows if it's actually true though.
I got lucky and timed BIDU perfectly already up 9% on it.
I remember people talking that the markets are overpriced at these levels but if you look underneath the indexes you have some names that shed like 30%+ over the last few weeks.
Personally, I feel like the market is going through some real price discovery and re-pricing some stocks that were in bubble territory.
