Just wait until BTC goes bear again and all of the new hold buyers, aka paper handers, start dumping.

big whales and institutional buyers will swoop in. then paper hands will be buyers again at the next tier up. tale as old as time with btc crypto stonks every investment ever created

Explain the other uses you see outside of "it isn’t efficient when used only as a currency".

To start;
- volatility in price
- transaction time is slow
- not really scarce (can argue this and against this)
- low barriers to entry
- first mover of a technology
- capital gains when used (can argue this and against this)
- liability issues
- fees
- intangible
- no true value outside of market; see above

One way I may play the bond sell-off is through LQD. Personally, I don't have much-fixed income exposure but if you are looking for something conservative that will give a nice yield this isn't a terrible strat imo.

LQD is an investment-grade bond ETF. This has sold off recently because corporate debt looks less attractive at the yield it was. Currently yielding 3.3%. If the 10 yr gets to approx 2%, LQD yield will be fairly close to 4%.

If you have a perspective that stock returns might be muted, corporate investment-grade bonds yielding 4% might not look too bad honestly. Probably looking for a sub 125 entry in LQD.

I'm playing the increasing yield by buying growth stonks. I'll look back in August and wish I had bought more.

It always feels really good to use a bunch of margin and make the wrong pick.

I just looked at my portfolio this morning and all I could do was quote the Mandalorian in my head. "This is the way"
