IOTA blew up, trading at 2.46 now. In top 4 coins.
NAV / SALT / NEO / SIA all pumped while rest of market dumped.

ARK / VTC went down, could be good buys rn.

Beginner friendly interface, easy authentication, great customer support (in my experience). Shame they have such high fees and only three coins. But it's a great place to start. Rumor has it they are going to add coins soon.

Buy them on Coinbase

Transfer them to Gdax (same company, same account credentials)

Then from Gdax transfer it to your other wallet or use it to purchase the coin you want at actual market price or limit price you set

Or just deposit the funds directly to Gdax and wait, but instant purchasing is a very powerful tool in the crypto space

Will save you a good bit on fees and transfers between Gdax and CB are instant and free

Yup GDAX is great for initial buy. More advanced platform.

Sign up with coinbase for free $10 then transfer to GDAX (verifying on coinbase app is far easier than GDAX platform)

The bandwagon is truly in full effect. A few people made some incredibly risky investments a decade ago and suddenly everyone is getting involved years too late.

Keep pumping the Bitcoin price up when there's much bigger returns on other coins, as all the late chumps get involved.

Yea BTC is pretty useless as a currency, it's truly a commodity. But the ship hasn't sailed yet on BTC, it's the lifeline of the cryptocurrency market until true altcoins come up with groundbreaking public use technology.

I'm sure many of the same statements were made when BTC was at 300, 1k, 5k, 7k.

Not year end expectations, but overall, i think cryptocurrencies are in a bubble. Everyone is trying to get into them, most likely because there are headliner gains be made by some people. It isnt currently a good store for money as they are pretty volatile. Not really used as a currency as most people trade to make money. Obviously this could change.

How long does it take for a market order transaction to go through? and how much of a premium do you have to pay to get priority for trading or is that fee something that changes depending on the demand? I guess im a little curious.

Did the great depression or the great recession destroy the stock market? No. Will the cryptocurrency bubble destroy cryptocurrency? No. It's here to stay.

Stocks arguably have a much easier to see intrinsic value. Cryptocurrencies depend on having enough people believing there is a value in them. Have you heard of the tulip bubble?
